Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Long Beach Alignment & Auto Repair ("we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit this website, ask us about a repair, request an appointment, or bring a vehicle to our shop.

Automotive repair is unusual in that it involves information about you and information about your vehicle, and the two are linked. A vehicle identification number, an odometer reading and a service history say a great deal about a person. We treat vehicle records with the same care as personal contact details, and this policy covers both.

By using this website, or by authorizing us to inspect or repair your vehicle, you agree to the practices described below.

Information You Give Us Directly

When you call, email or visit us, we collect what you choose to share: your name, the best way to reach you, the vehicle you want us to look at, and the reason for your visit.

When you bring a vehicle in, we also record the details needed to open a repair order: your contact and billing information, the person authorizing the work if that is not you, and the symptoms or concerns you describe.

If you are a fleet, insurance, warranty or extended service contract customer, we collect the account, policy, claim or authorization numbers needed to bill the correct party.

Vehicle Information We Collect

For each vehicle we work on we record the year, make, model, trim, engine, color, license plate, vehicle identification number, odometer reading, and the service and repair history we have with that vehicle.

During diagnosis we may connect scan equipment to your vehicle. That equipment reads what the vehicle already stores: diagnostic trouble codes, freeze frame and live sensor data, emissions readiness monitors, module software and calibration levels, and similar technical records. Some vehicles also hold data in an event data recorder or a manufacturer telematics system.

We read vehicle data only to diagnose the concern you reported, to carry out and verify the work you authorized, and to check for outstanding recalls or campaigns. We do not sell vehicle or telematics data, and we do not use it to build a profile of how you drive.

We commonly photograph or video a vehicle before, during and after work. This documents its condition on arrival, records what a worn or failed component actually looked like, and supports warranty and parts claims. If our premises are monitored by security cameras, that footage may also capture vehicles and visitors in our service area.

Payment Information

Card payments are handled by our payment processor. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded together with limited details such as the card type and last four digits; we do not store full card numbers on this website or in our systems.

Where you pay by check, financing or a third-party account, we keep the records needed to reconcile the transaction and meet our tax and accounting obligations.

Information Collected Automatically on This Website

Like most websites, this site records limited technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you view, the time of your visit, and the site or search that referred you.

This information helps us keep the site working, understand which pages are useful, and detect abuse. We do not use it to identify you personally.

How We Use Information

We use the information described above to answer your questions, prepare estimates, order the correct parts for your specific vehicle, schedule and perform the work you authorize, road test and verify repairs, and invoice you accurately.

We also use it to support the work afterwards: to honor the warranty on repairs we performed, to process parts warranty and core returns, to identify outstanding safety recalls, and to remind you when maintenance is due or an inspection is expiring, if you have asked us to.

We keep records of estimates, authorizations and invoices because the automotive repair regulations of California and general tax and accounting rules require it. Where we perform emissions, safety or similar inspections, we report the results to the relevant state program as those rules require.

Finally, we use information to secure our premises and systems, to prevent and investigate fraud, to resolve disputes, and to improve the services we offer.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Calls, Text Messages and Appointment Reminders

If you give us a telephone number, we may call or text you about your vehicle: to confirm an appointment, to ask you to approve additional work, to tell you the vehicle is ready, or to follow up on a repair.

Message and data rates may apply. You can stop marketing texts at any time by replying STOP. Please note that opting out of all messages may leave us unable to reach you quickly about a vehicle in our care, which can delay a repair.

Where we record telephone calls, for quality, training or to keep an accurate record of the work you authorized, we do so in accordance with applicable law and will tell you at the start of the call.

How We Share Information

We share information only where it is needed to do the work or to meet a legal obligation. In practice that means the following recipients.

Parts suppliers and dealerships, which usually need the vehicle identification number to confirm the correct part for your specific build.

Specialist shops we sublet work to, such as machine shops, transmission and driveline specialists, alignment, glass, upholstery, paint, mobile calibration and towing operators.

Vehicle manufacturers and their technical support, for warranty claims, recall and campaign checks, key and module programming, and diagnostic assistance.

Insurers, extended service contract administrators, warranty companies and fleet managers, where they are paying for or authorizing the repair.

Payment processors, financing providers and, if an account goes unpaid, collections agencies.

State inspection, emissions and motor vehicle programs, where reporting is required.

Service providers who run our scheduling, invoicing, website, hosting or communications systems, under contracts that restrict their use of the information to providing that service.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, in response to a valid legal request, to enforce our rights including a lien on a vehicle, to protect the safety of any person, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.

Personal Information Inside Your Vehicle

Modern vehicles hold a surprising amount of personal data: phones paired to the infotainment system, contact lists, call and text history, navigation and address history, garage door codes, toll transponders, dashcam footage and documents left in the glove box.

Our technicians access vehicle systems only as needed to diagnose and complete the authorized work. Even so, we recommend that you remove valuables and any documents you would not want seen, and that you delete paired phones from the infotainment system before a vehicle is sold, traded or left for extended work.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep repair orders, estimates, authorizations and invoices for at least the period required by the automotive repair regulations of California and by applicable tax law.

We keep vehicle service history for longer where it is useful to you, because knowing what was done, when, and at what mileage is often what allows a later diagnosis to be quick and a warranty claim to be honored.

Website enquiries that do not lead to a visit are kept only as long as needed to respond and to keep a short record of the conversation.

How We Protect Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the size of our business. That includes limiting access to customer records to staff who need them, securing keys and vehicles on our premises, and using reputable providers for payments and hosting.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as full card numbers or government identification numbers by email or through a website form.

Your Choices and Rights

You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, or ask us to delete information we no longer need. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time while continuing to receive messages about a vehicle we are working on.

Some records we are not free to delete on request. A repair order, authorization or invoice that we are required to retain will be kept for the required period even if you ask us to remove your marketing preferences.

To make a request, contact us at (562) 436-2612 or endra.lbalignment90@gmail.com.

California Residents

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and disclose it, to request a copy of it, to request that we correct or delete it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

You may make a request yourself or through an authorized agent. We will ask for information sufficient to verify that you are the person whose records you are requesting, which for vehicle records normally means confirming the vehicle and the transaction.

Children

This website is intended for adults arranging vehicle service. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

This site may link to other websites, including our listing on mapping and review platforms, parts and tire catalogues, manufacturer pages and financing providers. Those sites are controlled by other companies and have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, systems or legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and the updated policy applies from the moment it is posted.
