Terms of Service

Last updated: October 5, 2026

Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and set out the terms on which Long Beach Alignment & Auto Repair provides estimates, inspections, maintenance and repairs.

By using this site, requesting an appointment, or authorizing us to work on a vehicle, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or leave a vehicle with us.

Where these Terms conflict with a signed repair order, estimate or invoice, that document governs the specific work it describes.

About This Website

This website describes the services we offer and gives you a way to reach us. Descriptions of services, prices, promotions and availability are general information, not a binding offer, and they may change without notice.

Nothing on this site is a diagnosis of your vehicle, a quotation for a specific repair, or a promise about what a repair will cost or how long it will take. Only a technician who has inspected the vehicle can tell you that.

Appointment Requests

An appointment requested through this website or by message is a request, not a confirmed booking. It is confirmed only when we acknowledge it directly.

Appointment times are the time we expect to receive the vehicle, not the time the work will be finished. We may need to reschedule where parts are delayed, equipment is unavailable, or an earlier job takes longer than expected, and we will tell you as soon as we know.

Estimates and Authorization

Where required by law we will give you a written estimate before work begins, and we will not start work until you have authorized it. Authorization may be given in writing, electronically, or verbally where the law permits, and we record when and how it was given.

If we find that the work will exceed the authorized amount, or that additional parts or labor are needed, we will stop and contact you for approval before continuing. If we cannot reach you, the vehicle will wait until we can.

An estimate reflects what can be seen at the time it is prepared. Corrosion, seized or broken fasteners, previous repairs, damaged threads and faults hidden behind the failed component are common in vehicle repair and may change the scope and the price. We will tell you if that happens.

Diagnostic work is a service in its own right and may be charged separately. Diagnostic charges are payable whether or not you go on to authorize the repair, unless we have agreed otherwise in advance.

Prices, Taxes and Additional Charges

Labor is charged at our posted rate or as stated on your estimate. In addition to parts and labor, an invoice may include shop supplies, hazardous waste and used fluid disposal, sublet work performed by a specialist, core charges, storage, and applicable taxes.

Because parts prices move, an estimate is valid for a limited period. If you return later, we may need to re-quote.

Parts

Depending on the vehicle, the repair and what you authorize, we may fit new original equipment parts, new aftermarket parts, remanufactured parts or, where you agree, used parts. The type of part used will be shown on your invoice.

Parts availability is outside our control. Backorders, superseded part numbers and shipping delays can extend a repair, and we will keep you informed if that happens.

Some parts carry a core charge, which is refunded when the old unit is returned to the supplier. Cores and warranty parts must be returned and so cannot be given back to you.

You may ask for your replaced parts to be returned, and we will do so where the law allows and where the part is not required for a core or warranty return. Please ask before the work begins.

Parts You Supply Yourself

We may decline to fit parts supplied by a customer. Where we agree to fit them, we give no warranty of any kind on that part, nor on the labor to fit it if the part is faulty, incorrect or fails.

If a customer-supplied part is wrong or fails, the labor to remove and refit it is chargeable, as is any additional diagnostic time, and we are not responsible for the resulting delay.

Warranty on Our Work

We warrant the parts we supply and the labor we perform for the period and mileage stated on your invoice. This warranty covers the repair we carried out; it is not a warranty on the vehicle as a whole.

To make a claim, contact us and give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle and to correct the fault. Work carried out elsewhere without giving us that opportunity is not covered.

The warranty does not cover normal wear, maintenance items, damage caused by continued driving after a fault appears, neglect, accident, misuse, competition or off-road use, overloading, modification, the work of others, or parts supplied by the customer.

Manufacturer warranties on parts are passed through to you and are administered on the manufacturer terms.

Except as stated here and as required by law, we disclaim all other warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

Recommended Work You Decline

If we recommend work and you decline it, we will note that on your paperwork. You remain responsible for the condition of the vehicle, and we are not liable for consequences arising from work we recommended and you chose not to have done.

We may decline to perform part of a repair where doing so would leave the vehicle in a condition we believe to be unsafe to drive.

Road Tests

Many faults can only be confirmed or verified while driving. By authorizing work you authorize our staff to drive the vehicle on public roads as needed to diagnose the concern and to confirm the repair.

Keys, Drop-Off and Personal Property

Vehicles left outside opening hours, including through a key drop, are left at your own risk until we take them into our care at the start of the next working day.

Please remove valuables, documents and personal items before leaving a vehicle with us. Except to the extent the law provides otherwise, we are not responsible for personal property left in a vehicle.

Collection, Storage and Unclaimed Vehicles

We will tell you when your vehicle is ready. Please collect it promptly; space in a working shop is limited and a finished vehicle occupies a bay another customer needs.

Vehicles not collected within the period stated on your paperwork may incur a daily storage charge. Vehicles left uncollected and unpaid for may be subject to a repairer lien and, ultimately, to sale, in accordance with the laws of California.

Payment

Payment is due in full when the work is complete, before the vehicle is released, unless we have agreed different terms in writing with you or with a fleet, insurer or warranty administrator.

We may charge a fee for returned or declined payments, and unpaid balances may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by law. Where an account is referred for collection, reasonable costs of recovery may be added to the extent the law allows.

Until an invoice is paid we may exercise any lien available to us over the vehicle.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule. Where we have already ordered parts specifically for your vehicle, and those parts are non-returnable or subject to a restocking fee, that cost may be charged to you.

Coupons and Promotions

Unless the offer says otherwise, one coupon or promotion applies per visit per vehicle, offers cannot be combined with each other or with fleet, warranty or insurance pricing, and they do not apply to taxes, shop supplies, disposal fees, sublet work or previous invoices.

Offers must be presented when the repair order is written, not after the invoice is prepared. Offers expire on the date shown and may be corrected or withdrawn at any time, including where they contain an error.

Towing and Roadside Assistance

Where towing or roadside assistance is arranged through a third-party operator, that operator provides the service under its own terms and is responsible for the vehicle while it is in its care.

Reviews and Anything You Submit

If you send us a review, photograph, comment or suggestion, you allow us to use and publish it in connection with our business, with attribution to the name you give.

Please submit only material that is yours to share, that is accurate, and that does not infringe the rights of anyone else or contain unlawful content.

Acceptable Use of This Site

You agree to use this website lawfully, and not to interfere with its operation or security, attempt to gain unauthorized access, scrape or harvest its content or contact details, submit false booking requests, or use it to send unsolicited messages.

Our Content

The text, images, logos and design on this site belong to Long Beach Alignment & Auto Repair or to our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may view and print pages for your own use in dealing with us; any other copying or republication requires our written permission.

Links to Other Sites

This site may link to other websites, including mapping, review, parts, manufacturer and financing services. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their availability or their terms.

Disclaimer

This website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We take care to keep it accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that every description, price or opening hour shown is complete and up to date.

Information on this site is general and is not a substitute for inspection by a qualified technician. Do not rely on it to decide whether a vehicle is safe to drive.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Long Beach Alignment & Auto Repair is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising out of your use of this website or out of a repair, including loss of use, loss of income, rental or replacement transport costs, towing, or missed appointments.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with any repair is limited to the amount you paid us for that repair.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under consumer protection law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Long Beach Alignment & Auto Repair against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of this website, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of the law or the rights of another person.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms, and any dispute arising from them or from work we perform, are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

If you are unhappy with any part of our work, please contact us first. Most disputes about a vehicle are resolved quickly once the shop can look at it again, and we would rather fix a problem than argue about it.

If we cannot resolve a dispute between us within a reasonable period, it may be brought in the state and federal courts serving Long Beach, California. Nothing here prevents either of us from bringing a claim in small claims court, or from using any dispute resolution program available to you under state law.

General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and the repair order, estimate and invoice for any specific work, form the entire agreement between us on their subject matter. You may not transfer your rights under them without our consent.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as our services or legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and the revised version applies to use of the site and to work authorized after it is posted.
